Moving to a new city has become such a part of our lives that I don’t think much about it anymore. An 9 hour road trip used to be long to me, now it is an easy trip and unless something is over 18 hours we don’t really think much of it.
We left Park City yesterday for Boulder, CO. We’re sitting in our new home right near Pearl Street and enjoying the cool morning. I have never been to Boulder, however Matt spent a little time here when he was much younger. Yesterday, we were driving around with nowhere to go when Matt spotted a street and wanted to find parking right away, he told me we had to stop and walk down thisĀ particularĀ street. We got out of the car, and started walking, when we came up to a bunch of small boulders that kids were playing on. He stood there for a second and then told me that he used to play on these boulders when he was THREE. THREE! And he even figured out that one was missing.
The first few days that we’re in a new place always seems strange. And we always miss the place we just left.
We are going to miss Park City. What a beautiful town! We could see ski slopes all around our condo and in five minutes could be hiking at almost 10,000 feet up in the air. We will also miss the people we met while living there. Salt Lake City and Park City have some awesome people.
Here are some photos of Park City (and beyond)
